Jill E. Doan, DDS, MS
Dr. Doan graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2004. She also earned her bachelor’s, master's, and periodontal degrees at the University of Michigan. During her residency, she received specialized training in conscious sedation and completed the Misch Implant Institute surgical program. She was one of three national finalists for the Kramer Scholar Award, given by the American Academy of Periodontology.
Dr. Doan has garnered national recognition for her research on inflammatory bone loss. She received the Anthony Volpe Prize from Colgate-Palmolive as well as the Balint Orban Award from the American Academy of Periodontology. Her work has been published in several professional journals.
Dr. Doan is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. She is a Board Director of the American Association of Women Dentists and an Executive Member of the North Shore Women Dentists. She also participates in the Midwest Society of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, and PDL Study Club.
A native of Michigan, Dr. Doan now enjoys exploring Chicago with her husband, Dan. She also enjoys college football and Pulitzer Prize novels.
